The 2009 Twilight Showdown Mountainboard Nationals turned out to be an
amazing contest. We had 3 of the most innovative features in a mountainboard
competition to date including the greatest boardercross course in the U.S.
at this time. There were also more spectators than originally expected with
about 500 over the 2 days. Along with 42 competitors from anywhere between
Hawaii and New Hampshire and covering all levels of riding
DAY 1

The first night was just the boardercross racing and (despite a 20mph+
headwind) went off without a hitch. Normally a course is geared towards the
pros or the underclasses but this on appealed to all. It was fast and
challenging for all levels. The results broke down like this…

A classic mustache contest. Post your picture of your clean shaven face at the beginning of the month. Then, give us an update of the aftermath with a picture of your gnarly stache.

How it works:

  • Take a picture of that face a mother could only love. Clean Shaven, you can even still have all the toilet paper from the nick marks.
  • Then, in 45 days at the most, (we will know if you cheat!) send in another image of that glorious patch on your upper lip.

What you win:

  • Banshee Bungee Package of your choice!

This is a big one folks and so we’ll give you till the end of April to get your pics in. May the best stache win.
